1. Genre - Mystery - You're A Mystery

Man goes back to town after living away, turns out there’s a man living there in his name and living his life. After being away at university, a young man goes back to his town to realise that a man has been living in his place. Mystery man has been living in the original man’s house and living in his identity through the use of documents found in the attic of the house. No one suspected anything, as he was the spitting image of the man originally living in the house. The film will show the man going through his troubles whilst trying to regain his identity, no one believes what he is telling them, to everyone else he is just a man that has moved into the town and needs to restart his life.

2. Genre – Comedy - Alfie and Me

Businessman wakes up one day feeling a bit odd. Throughout the day he starts getting the same cravings that a dog would get. He craves chasing tennis balls, cars and small animals. He arrives home to realise that he has actually turned into his dog with no idea how it happened. He tries to get help from the people he knew as a human but no one can understand him because he is a dog and no longer has the ability to speak english as humans would do. He wanders the streets searching for someone or something to change him back. A few days later he returns to the park where he first got the cravings, after a few minutes he realises that another dog has been following him. 

Chosen Film Idea - Lower Ground

The film idea which we have chosen to do will be 'Lower Ground' and the genre of this film will be horror. 

Lower Ground - horror

Close up of bucket- caretaker is walking towards the entrance to meet the new employee, He signs in with the receptionist who then flirtatiously tags along. After this he shows him round to the point where they have to go onto the next floor.

An unexpected event occurs when They get stuck in an elevator and all goes silent. Stuck in darkness and the elevator starts to slowly move downwards even though they were on the lower floor… The door opens and the elevator speaks “lowest ground” which isn’t a normal floor its lower ground so they realise something’s wrong.

They walk to the nearest thing they see which Is a double door, they open and its an old sports hall but out of no where a ball bounces across the floor so they turn see a woman and turns back and she’s gone. They scan the hall to see many children staring at them through the window with lifeless eyes. They run for the elevator buts it’s gone… The old caretaker dissapears without the others noticing.

Running through the corridors more creepy things move and walk past, he's on his own to the point where he sees a light and hears a voice 'lift going up' He makes it to this door but its locked, he breaks through and gets in the lift. A shiver went up his spine as he waits, something touches his leg.. The old caretaker is sat bleeding and then looking into his eyes he realises the caretaker is possessed but its too late and the doors close.

As the lift reaches the top floor, the doors open and only the bucket is there...

Arron's Film Ideas

TWO COLOURS - Sport Drama

Based on a guy who is involved in a football hooligan gang (firm) and is revolved around the Barnsley firm and the Sheffield firm. The main story of this is he gets too involved with the rival gang helping them gain inside information on his own gang without realising causing a gang up on his friend and due to this causes a huge fight in which his own friend gets killed. The gang abandons him and he needs to find a way to make the gang forgive him so on his own he plans to take down the rival gang major to prove he’s a red and only a red.

Lower Ground - horror

An unexpected event occurs when a man gets stuck in an elevator with his friend and all goes silent. Stuck in darkness and the elevator starts to slowly move downwards even though they were on the lower floor… The door opens and the elevator speaks “lowest ground” which isn’t a normal floor its lower ground so they realise something’s wrong.

He runs to the closest door, which is a changing room, and all the shower doors are shut but feet are sticking out of the one at the end. He turns and runs for the door but the woman is stood there he runs back to the showers and the feet have gone. Gathering himself together he go's to the sink and rinses his face in the water, he looks up towards the mirror to see that his face was covered in blood but blinks and he's back to normal.

More unexpected things occur until he finds the elevator again. pressing the button lots of times until it finally opens. He leaps back due to his friend sat on the floor almost lifeless. He jumps in the lift and goes up slowly until his friend stands up eyes ghostly and possessed by the woman. The elevator reaches the ground floor but opens and only the mop and bucket is there...

Shot Ideas

Pan of sports hall-glimpse of scary woman- pan back and she’s gone.

Wipe on elevator doors into a new location.

Low angle shot up to windows.

Night vision filter (green) when elevator goes dark.

In elevator goes fuzzy then turns black.

Face in door windows.

Mirror shot and cut back to the mirror and someone is behind her.

Changing room sees feet; pan back to door to run and scary woman is stood there.
